羅臼で見られる様々な生物に出会えることを願い

「はまなす号」に乗り出発。

天候は曇り。辺りは真っ白で連山の下方は海霧。

観光船がどんどん進み、シャチの姿を捉えたと説明があり、

見える方向へ少しずつ近づいてくれました。

シャチが家族で群れて移動するのは有名ですが基本は母と子供たち、

さらには、その子供たちだけ。

父親は自分の母親とは離れないので、両親と子供たちという群れではなく

オスがいたら、それは子供、または子供の子供だそうです。

背中の模様も１頭１頭違い、個体識別調査も行われていて500頭が確認され

ているんだとか。

鳴き声を聞くことができました。

This　time I decided to try the whale watching boat named Hamanasu　in RAUSE.

Shortly　after　leaving port，we were lucky enough to encountered a group of killer　whale.

That　flock　of killer whales seen near the boat were powerful,adorable and made a great

impression to the passengers. The　staff taught passengers that killer whales are very famous

for migrating in their familes, but they basically live with their mother and her child.

If　you　can find a male killer　whales　in the group,they are child of the mother,not the

father of the family.　

After　mathing,　the male killer whalle returns to the mother`s family to live with.

Mail　killer whales never left their mother`s 　family all their life. From　these　of facts they

don`t from a family similar to the families of human being .

The　staff　taught us in the boat. "About　the method of individual identification"　as well.

Shape　of dorsal fin.saddle patch pattem,eye'ｓ　patches,all of them are different one by one.

Checking　of those　information patiently, it is said that more than 500 individuals have already been

identified.

Today I took a whale-watching boat and not only learmed about a lots of sea animals but also

spent a blissful time in nature.
